Chance to watch the red carpet event and attend the UK premiere screening of ROCKETMAN

No purchase necessary. 15 and older only. 15 year olds must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over.

Subject to Availability.

1.Subject to these terms and conditions:
(a) the first one hundred and fifty (150) people (in total) to produce the original print version of the Metro newspaper’s promotional advert for ROCKETMAN (the “Film”) to the Promoter’s representative at ODEON LUXE LONDON LEICESTER SQUARE, 24-26 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7JY (“Odeon Luxe”) from 8:00am on Monday 20th May 2019 (“Event Day”) will each receive a wristband (“Wristband”) which will entitle them to access to a crowd pen in Leicester Square, London (“Crowd Pen”) to watch the red carpet event which runs from 5:00pm on the Event Day; and
(b) ​the first one hundred (100) people (in total) to be issued Wristbands will each be entitled to one admission (“Ticket”) to the UK premiere screening of the Film at Cineworld Leicester Square, 5-6 Leicester Square, London WC2H 7NA (“Cineworld”) following the red carpet event
(together, the “Promotion”).
2.The promoter is Paramount Pictures UK, Building 5 Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 5YF (“Promoter”).
3.No purchase is necessary for entering this Promotion.
4.The Promotion will open at 8:00am on the Event Day and will close when one hundred and fifty (150) Wristbands (in total) have been issued, or at 5:00pm on the Event Day, whichever is earlier (the “Promotional Window”). The Promoter reserves the right to allocate any unissued Wristbands to members of the general public when the Promotion closes.

Crowd Pen Access

5.To enter the Promotion and be eligible for a Wristband, participants must present the original print version of the Metro newspaper’s promotional advert for the Film from the Monday 20th May 2019 issue of the newspaper (“Advert”) to the Promoter’s representative at Odeon Luxe during the Promotional Window (“Entry”).
6.The first one hundred and fifty (150) participants (in total) to submit valid Entries will each receive a Wristband (each such person a “Wristband Holder”). No Entries will be accepted after the Promotion closes.

7.The original print version of the Metro newspaper containing the Advert must be shown. Copies will not be accepted.

8.Participants are limited to one Wristband per person, and Wristbands will be issued on a first-come first-served basis.

9.Wristbands are not transferable and participants must be present in person to submit an Entry and receive a Wristband.

10.Wristbands will only be given to individual participants who are: (i) aged 16 or over; or (ii) aged 15 and accompanied by someone who is aged 18 or older and also a Wristband Holder.

11.The Promoter reserves the right to require proof of age from any participant.

12.Wristband Holders will be able to enter the Crowd Pen from 3:00pm on the Event Day. All Wristband Holders must be present in the Crowd Pen by no later than 5:00pm on the Event Day.

13.Wristband Holders who do not take their place in the Crowd Pen by 5:00pm on the Event Day may be denied access to the Crowd Pen and may forfeit any Ticket they may otherwise be entitled to for the screening of the Film. The Promoter reserves the right to replace Wristband Holders who do not arrive on time with members of the general public.

14.Wristband Holders must wear their Wristbands at all times during the event. Any Wristband that has been tampered with or removed will not be valid. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to the Crowd Pen to any person who has (or who Promoter has reason to believe has) tampered with or removed his or her Wristband or otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions.

15.Wristband Holders will be subject to security searches by security staff. Searching is a condition of entry to protect Wristband Holders’ safety and that of others. Security staff may conduct security searches of clothing, bags and other items, as determined by the Promoter in its reasonable discretion, including on entry to and exit from the Crowd Pen.

16.The Crowd Pen will be open to the weather, so Wristband Holders are advised to dress appropriately and ensure they (and any children with Wristbands accompanying them) have the necessary protection from the weather.

Premiere Screening Tickets​

17.The “Rocketman” UK premiere event includes screenings of the Film at both Odeon Luxe and Cineworld in Leicester Square.

18.The first one hundred (100) people (in total) to be issued Wristbands (“Ticket Holders”) will each be entitled to one admission to the UK premiere screening of the Film at Cineworld following the red carpet event.

19.Tickets will only be given to (and may only be used by) Wristband Holders who are: (i) aged 16 or over; or (ii) aged 15 and accompanied by someone who is aged 18 or older and also a Ticket Holder (please note the film has a 15 certificate).

20.Ticket Holders will be taken from the Crowd Pen to their seats for the screening of the Film upon the conclusion of the red carpet event after 7:00pm on the Event Day.

21.Tickets shall be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

22.Tickets are not transferable and participants must be present in person to receive a Ticket.

23.Wristband Holders must retain their Tickets and present them on demand at all times until the end of the screening of the Film. Any Tickets that have been tampered with will not be valid.

24.Ticket holders who are not present in the Crowd Pen will not be given access to the screening of the Film.

25.The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to the screening of the Film to any person who has (or who Promoter has reason to believe has) breached these Terms and Conditions.

General

26.By entering this Promotion, participants will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and be bound by them and any other instructions contained in the Promotion material or communicated by the Promoter. In the case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any other instructions or requirements, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

27.Entry to the Promotion is not available to those who are employees, agents or representatives of the Promoter or any other person connected with this Promotion or members of their immediate families or those residing with such families.

28.Wristband Holders must be available to attend the red carpet event on the Event Day, and Ticket Holders must be available to attend both the red carpet event and the screening of the Film following the conclusion of the red carpet event on the Event Day.

29.The Promotion excludes all additional costs including but not limited to any accommodation, travel/transportation costs including but not limited to car hire, UK transfers, ground transportation and parking costs, unless otherwise stated.

30.If: (i) there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of the Terms and Conditions; (ii) there is any fraudulent, illegal or other improper conduct by a participant; (iii) the spirit of the Promotion has been compromised; or (iv) a participant is derogatory or defamatory about the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s products, then the Promoter in its sole discretion reserves the right to reject any relevant Entry or withdraw or reclaim a Wristband Holder’s Wristband, Ticket and/or, if applicable, any other element of the Promotion offered to a participant in whole or in part. If a Wristband Holder’s Wristband is withdrawn or reclaimed following entry to the Crowd Pen, he or she shall leave the Crowd Pen on request. If a Ticket Holder’s Ticket is withdrawn or reclaimed following entry to the screening of the Film, he or she shall leave the screening on request.

31.Although the Promoter will always endeavour to minimise the effect to the participant in order to avoid undue disappointment, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the Promotion as necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.

32.There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part except that in the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value.

33.The Promoter cannot be held responsible if a third party cancels any aspect of the Promotion. The Promoter is not liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation to any participant that is caused by any circumstance beyond its reasonable control or by any act or omission of any third party.

34.Cineworld’s in-cinema terms of entry, safety and security shall also apply, available at: https://www.cineworld.co.uk/terms/in-cinema.

35.The Promoter’s decision will be final in all circumstances and no correspondence will be entered into.

36.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law: (a) the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability, for any injury sustained, loss, or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; or any tax liability incurred by any participant; and (b) the Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained, as a result of, or in connection with this Promotion (in contract, negligence or otherwise) where:
(i) there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed to the participant;
(ii) the loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach;
(iii) any loss or damage or increase in loss or damage results from a breach by the participant of these Terms and Conditions or Cineworld’s in-cinema terms of entry, safety and security or to the extent that the participant has failed to mitigate such loss or damage; or
(iiii) any loss or damage or increase in loss or damage results from business losses, and/or losses to non-consumers and any other third party.
